Petrol engine setting/locking tool set - AST-5090

AST-5090 covers engine timing applications on the Opel chain driven 1.0 L, 1.2 L and 1.4 L petrol engines that were introduced in 2010. The 1.2 L and 1.4 L engines are 4 cylinder, twin camshaft units with VVT units fitted to both inlet and exhaust camshafts. The 1.0 L engine is a 3 cylinder, twin camshaft engine with no VVT units fitted. In all cases the chain drive is a conventional arrangement, running on both camshafts and the crankshaft. The Crankshaft locking pin and the Tensioner locking pin are carried over from the previous &lsquo,Z&rsquo, generation of engines - all other tools are new to the &lsquo,A&rsquo, engine. Note: Generation codes do not apply to Chevrolet applications.
